The Little Blue Dinosaur aims to ensure that students are fully engaged in our road safety education by encouraging them to explain which roadway behaviours they will actively change as a result of our school presentation.

Now I know: that road safety is very important and you have to hold a parent’s hand and press the button to cross at the traffic lights. Don’t ride a bike on the road.

I used to think: you were allowed to walk on the road and not hold a parent’s hand but be very careful.
Now I know: that you have to only cross the road at a pedestrian crossing and you always have to hold a hand.
